摘要
辽西建昌盆地西缘出露的“义县组”，包括底部沉积层和上部火山岩及其沉积夹层，顶底齐全。本文仅涉及底部沉积层，将其从“义县组”中分出来，新建魏家岭组，归属晚侏罗世。该组总厚度为 1 078.97 m，动、植物化石丰富。
Yixian F. was exposed in the west edge of Jianchang Basin in West Liaoning,which includes sedimentary layers on the bottom,and overlaying volcanic rocks and sedimentation interbeds. In the paper the bottom sedimentary layers are separated from Yixian F.,and then established into Weijialing F.,belonging to Late Jurassic epoch. The total thickness is 1078.97 m.In Weijialing F.,there contain abundant animal and plant fossils.
