摘要
利用电磁流体力学 (MHD)的基本理论 ,给出了板坯结晶器内电磁制动的数学模型 ,并利用CFX软件进行了数值模拟·结果表明 ,全幅一段电磁制动和全幅二段电磁制动均能有效改变结晶器内的钢液流场的分布 ,使板坯下部呈现活塞流 ;后者使板坯上回流区基本消失 ,弯月面较前者明显稳定 ;与钢液流动速度相反的电磁力是电磁制动的直接原因 ;全幅一段电磁制动和全幅二段电磁制动有利于钢液内部非金属夹杂物的上浮 ,且后者效果更佳·
The mathematical model of EMBR(electromagnetic brake)in slab mold is presented based on the theory of magnetohydrodynamics. Numerical simulation was carried out by CFX commercial software. It′s shown that both LMF EMBR and FC mold have the effects to modify the distribution of flow field effectively and to result in a pluglike flow in the region under the lower pole of the magnetic field. The upper vortex is almost vanished with the FC mold so the meniscus is more stable than in the LMF EMBR case. The electromagnetic force opposite to the fluid flow is the direct reason for EMBR. Both LMF EMBR and FC mold can help more inclusions floating up,while FC mold is more efficient.
