摘要
目的观察国产水凝胶微球(HMs)血管内栓塞的生物相容性及远期效果,并与进口 HMs、聚乙烯醇(PVA)颗粒比 较。方法将 24只家兔随机分为 3组,经兔右颈动脉插管,分别用直径为 250~300μm的国产 HMs、进口 HMs、PVA经 颈内动脉和颈外动脉(ECA)分支栓塞,观察动物神经功能改变、血管再通情况及机体反应性。结果所有动物ECA分 支栓塞后均存活。国产HMs共栓塞ECA11条分支血管,进口HMs共栓塞血管10条,6个月后血管造影均未出现再 通,而 PVA栓塞 11条 ECA分支中有 2条再通( 18.2%)。经造影观察,国产 HMs具有明显的不透 X线性。与 PVA相 比,国产HMs、进口HMs仅引起血管内皮轻度损伤、增生,栓塞血管的局部反应轻微。结论国产HMs远期栓塞效果、 生物相容性与进口 HMs相同,优于PVA。
Objective To study the biocompatibility and long-term embolic effects of self-made hydrogel microspheres (HMs) in comparison with those of imported HMs and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA). Methods Twenty-four domestic rabbits were randomly divided into 3 groups, subjected respectively to injection into the internal carotid artery (ICA) and branches of external carotid artery (ECA) with self-made HMs, imported HMs and PVA, with diameter of 250 to 300 μm. The changes in neurologic functions, occurrence of vascular recanalization and histological features in response to the treatment were observed. Results All rabbits survived the embolization of the branches of the ECA. Eleven branches were embolized with self-made HMs and 10 with imported HMs; no recanalization occurred as seen by angiographies 6 months later. In contrast, recana- lization occurred in 2 of 11 branches embolized with PVA. Compared with PVA group, self-made and imported HMs caused less injury and thickening of the vascular endothelium, and only mild inflammation was observed in the embolized vessels. Conclusion The long-term embolic effects and biocompatibility of self-made HMs are similar to those of the imported HMs, but superior to those of PVA.
