摘要
翻译不仅仅是一种跨语言的转换行为,更是一种跨文化的交际活动。翻译与文化存在着密不可分的关系,中国文化与西方文化中存在的文化共性与文化个性、文化冲突与文化交流对翻译活动有着重要的影响。因此,在英译汉过程中译者需要注意文化因素及中西文化差异,采取相对应的翻译对策,才能准确传达原文的意义。
Translation is, more than transformation between languages, a kind of cross-cultural communicative activity. Since translation and culture are closely related, the general specific character, as well as the clash and exchange between the Chinese culture and Western culture have a major influence on the translation activities. Hence, a translator needs to pay attention to the cultural factors and cultural differences, and employ corresponding translation strategies in the process of translating from English to Chinese, so as to accurately convey meaning of the source text.
