摘要
为了检测和验证通信电缆的电气性能,衰减特性是被检测的一个非常重要的指标。设计的通信电缆衰减特性检测系统选择飞思卡尔Kinetis60作为主控制芯片,利用DDS芯片AD9850产生单频正弦信号或扫频信号,经过滤波放大加载至电缆,之后主控制芯片对电缆末端回波信号进行采集并进行频谱分析,且通过一定的程序算法实现对通信电缆的衰减特性检测。系统在音频范围(20 Hz^22 kHz)内,能够实现电缆衰减特性的检测。
Attenuation characteristic is a very important indicator to verify the electrical properties of communi- cation cable. Freescale Kinetis60 is selected as the main control chip of communication cable characteristic at- tenuation measurement system. Single-frequency sinusoidal signal or sweep signal is produced by DDS AD9850 chip, then loaded to a cable after filtering and amplifying. The main control chip collects and spectrally analy- zes the echo signal which is from the end of the cable. Then attenuation characteristic of the communication ca- ble is detected through certain procedure algorithm. In the audio range (20 Hz - 22 kHz), the system can a- chieve the detection of cable attenuation.
