摘要 H.264/AVC视频编码标准具有较高效的压缩率和较好的网络适应性,广泛应用于高性能视频服务领域.它采用率失真优化技术(RDO,Rate distortion optimization),有效提高编码效率的同时是以高计算复杂度为代价的.利用图像的纹理特征、子块之间的相关性,提出一种快速帧内预测模式选择算法.根据图像的纹理方向,减少预测模式的数量;通过色度块与亮度块预测模式的相对独立性以及子块之间模式的相关性,进一步减少RDO的计算.实验结果显示,在图像质量基本保持不变的情况下,编码时间平均减少65%左右. H. 264/AVC is a kind of video coding standard, which has higher compression efficiency and better network adaptability, and it is used in the field of high-performance video services widely. It adopts RDO(Rate distortion optimization) technique, which improves the encoding efficiency, but increases computational complexity. This paper presents a kind of fast H. 264 intra prediction mode selection algorithm based on the texture features and the correlation between the sub-blocks. According to the texture direction, the number of prediction modes is reduced. Based on relative independence of prediction mode in chrominance block and luminance block, and the mode correlation between sub-blocks, the RDO calculation is reduced. The experiment result shows that in the case of image quality remained unchanged, the encoding time is reduced about 65 % on average.
