摘要
作为独立的知识领域,"Humanities"与Nature Sciences(自然科学)和Social Sciences(社会科学)相对,在国外尤其是欧美国家指学院或研究院设置的学科之一。然而,国内外有关"Humanities"的指称对象、所指内涵和研究范畴等问题众说纷纭。国外"Humanities"研究存在的主要问题是缺乏对学科意义上"Humanities"自身的界定及特质的认识,国内这方面专题性研究甚少,且主要存在着中译术语不统一、概念混乱等问题。
As an independent field ,“Humanities”is opposite to nature sciences or social sciences .Outside China and especially in European and American countries ,it is a branch of learning in colleges or researching in-stitutions .But there are various explanations of its contents ,connotations and studying field .The main problem for scholars abroad is the lack of definition to this science and recognition to its special features .Chinese scholars have rarely studied in this field and there exist problems as the disunity of the translated terms and confused con-cepts .
