随着当今科学信息技术的高速发展,地理信息系统(GIS)在林业领域上的应用越来越广泛,本文通过对地理信息系统(GIS)的概念、特征及功能的介绍,综合阐述了地理信息系统在林业中广泛应用的现状及其应用前景。
