协优５７ 中抗白叶枯病、稻瘟病，对纹枯病也有一定的抗性，在病区种植增产明显；田间抗稻飞虱能力较强；此外，还具有较强的耐旱、耐淹能力。
Xieyou 57 had the medium resistance to bacterial leaf blight and blast, and some resistance to sheath blight of rice plant. As it was popularized in the areas of diseases occurrence, its yield was increased clearly. It had a better resistance to rice plant hopper in the field. Besides this, it had also a better tolerance to drought and submerge.
