群众路线是我们党领导人民革命、建设和改革实践中形成和发展的,是我们党在新的历史条件下实现科学执政、民主执政和依法执政的工作路线,同时也是中国特色社会主义民主政治建设的生命线。群众路线和民主政治建设具有共同的理论和实践基础:马克思主义的唯物史观和中国传统文化思想是理论来源;中国共产党领导人民群众进行的新民主主义革命、社会主义革命和建设、中国特色社会主义建设是实践基础。二者统一于实现中华民族伟大复兴的实践中。
The mass line has formed in the practice of Chinese people＇s revolution, construction and reform led by the party, is the line of work for our party to achieve scientific, democratic, and law - based governance, and also the lifeline to start the so- cialist democratic politics with Chinese characteristics. The mass line shares the same theory and practice foundation with the democratic politics construction： the theory derives from the Marxism historical materialism and the Chinese traditional culture, and the practice foundation comes from Chinese people＇s new- democratic revolution, socialist evolution and construction, and construction of the socialism with Chinese characteristics. They are united in the practice of realizing the rejuvenation of the Chi- nese nation.
