摘要
简单介绍了利用缓发中子探测器监测燃料原件破损的基本工作原理;综述了缓发中子探测器的国内发展现状;最后思考提出了利用缓发中子探测器开展燃料元件包壳破损监测的5个技术要点,包括短寿命干扰本底的去除、探测器的选择、慢化材料选择及其厚度最优化、外部干扰中子的屏蔽。
Working principle of the delayed neutron monitor is briefly introduced .Its domestic development is also covered in the paper .Technical essentials on how to discover a failed fuel element using delayed neutron monitor are given in details at the end:including discrimination of short -life isotopes , choice of detector , se-lection of moderator together with the optimization of its thickness , and shielding of outside noise neutrons .
