摘要
利用拉曼光谱研究了苯乙烯的热聚合反应。根据苯乙烯烯键1632cm^(-1)谱带在热聚合反应中振动强度的变化,以苯环1002cm^(-1)谱带的强度为内标,测试了反应体系中单体浓度随时间的变化,并与经典的化学方法所得结果作了比较。发现两种方法有一定的平行误差,很好地遵从Arrenhnius关系,求得的活化能分别为18.9和19.5 kcal/mol,与文献结果一致。
We have applied the variance intensity of Raman spectroscopy with 1632cm^(-1) band of branch chain and 1002 cm^(-1) band of benzene ring as internal standard to measure conversion of monomer concentration with time quantitatively and compare with classical chemical method in our studies of thermal polymerization of styrene. The results obtained from both methods keep a parallel error relation, very well described by Arrenhnius law with an activation energy of 18.9 kcal/mol and 19.5 kcal/mol respectively, and are consistent with that of literature published.
