This paper introduced the process , equipment composition of 50 MN wide-thick plate flatting machine in the wide and heavy plate plant ofJinan Iron and Steel Group , and then introduced in detail the automatic control system of the flatting machine ,finally introduced the application of 50 MN wide-thick plate flatting machine and economic benefits crea-ted.
