摘要
通过阐述视觉文化的内涵并梳理其渊源,将少数民族文化研究与视觉文化相结合,以"丽江古城形象"为研究个案,作为纳西文化研究的文化窗口。东巴象形文字、丽江古城标志性景观、丽江古城明信片、丽江古城影视作为"丽江古城形象"的凝视对象,对少数民族形象的传播与发展起到一定的促进作用。在视觉凝视与文化中,既有游客与文化的相遇与碰撞,影像与文化的相遇与碰撞,也有文化与文化的相遇与碰撞。视觉文化研究应该阐释与破译民族文化生成和发展过程中赋有的文化符号与意蕴,揭示民族文化发展的基本规律,以深入理解该民族的生命、生命与文化本身。
This is a case study of the ＂Image of the Old Town of Lijiang＂ and Naxi culture based on an integration of minority cultural elements and visual culture. The ＂Image of the Old Town of Lijiang＂ finds expression in Dongba pictographs, typical landscapes and postcards and photos of Lijiang which help promote the publicity of minority images. Such images reveal the fusion and conflicts be- tween tourists and the locals, between different cultures as well as the generation and development of minority cultures. This study a- dopts the theory of visual culture in hope of revealing the basic law of the development of minority cultures as well as the life and culture of the Naxis as a minority group.
