The Primary Genes of the High-Affinity Iron Transport System in the Yeast Saccharomyces Cerevisiae and the Effects on This System of the Enviromental Factors

摘要 Fet3基因编码的一种多铜氧化酶和 Ftr1基因编码的一种通透酶介导着酵母细胞质膜高亲和力的铁吸收 .FET3的 Fe( )氧化酶活性是酵母高亲和力铁吸收系统必需的 ,FTR1在铁的跨膜转运中起着直接的作用 ,其转运底物是 Fe( ) .O2 通过转录因子 AFT1的作用和作为 Two proteins in the plasma membrane of yeast—a multicopper oxidase, encoded by the Fet3 gene, and a permease, encoded by the Ftr1 gene—were shown to mediate high affinity iron uptake. The FET3 ferrousoxidase activity is required for high affinity iron uptake, FTR1 protein also plaged a direct role in iron transport and prefers Fe(Ⅲ) over Fe(Ⅱ) as substrate. The effect on the regulation of high affinity Iron uptake in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae of dioxygen is finished by the transcriptional factor AFT1 and its activity as FET3 specific substrate.
