弱锚定条件下超扭曲向列相液晶显示的特征电压

摘要 通过液晶连续体理论研究弱锚定条件下超扭曲向列相液晶盒中的指向矢分布 .可以定义超扭曲向列相液晶显示的特征电压 ,在该电压下液晶盒中指向矢的倾角为常量 .将锚定能写成倾角项和扭曲角项的线性组合形式 ,由此得出特征电压的解析表达式 .解析结果通过解常微分方程组得到证明 .将这一数值结果与锚定能是倾角与扭曲角非线性组合形式时的结果进行了比较 . Dpitch(2)istributions of the director in supertwisted nematic liquid crystal cell with weak anchoring are studied pitch(0)by means of the continuum theory of liquid crystals The character voltage for supertwisted nematic liquid crystal display can be defined as a voltage at which tilt angle of the director in liquid crystal cell is a constant The analytical expression for the character voltage is obtained when the anchoring energy is written as a linear combination of a tilt angle term and a twist angle term The analytical result is verified by solving ordinary differential equations and the numerical result is compared with that of supertwisted nematic system,for which the anchoring energy is a nonlinear combination of the tilt and twist angles
