Study on the WC-Ni-PbO High Temperature Self-Lubricating Metal-Cermet Materials

摘要 作者考察了热压烧结WC-Ni-PbO金属陶瓷材料的高温摩擦学性能,发现其在400~600℃的温度范围内具有较高的机械强度和良好的自润滑性,而且在比较高的滑动速度和负荷条件下的摩擦磨损性能更优。X-射线衍射分析表明,这种材料的主要成分是Ni、WC和PbWO_4。随着环境温度的升高,材料摩擦轨迹上PbWO_4的含量逐渐增多,摩擦系数逐渐下降,表明PbWO_4具有高温润滑性。WC-Ni-PbO材料的摩擦温度特性与PbO的不同,无论是未经摩擦的材料,还是在其摩擦轨迹上,均未发现PbO的存在。 The tribological properties of hot-press-sintered Ni-WC-PbO cermets were studied. In the temperature range between 400℃ and 600℃ , the cermets present good self-lubricating properties and their mechanical properties are fairly good as well. Under the condition of higher sliding speed and larger load, the tribological properties of the cermets are even better. Comparing Ni-WC-PbO with Ni-WC cermets indicated that adding a proper amount of PbO can improve the tribological properties of the cermets. However, the friction-temperature characteristic of Ni-WC-PbO cermets is different from that of PbO itself. Further approch shown that the hot-press-sintered Ni-WC-PbO cermets consist mainly of Ni, WC and PbWO4. No PbO was detected in the cermets before friction test and on their friction tracks. The high temperature self-lubricating behavior of the cermets is atributed to PbWO*, a high temperature lubricant. It was observed that as environment temperature increases the amount of PbWO4 on the friction tracks of cermets increases and the friction coefficient decreases gradually. Some properties of a typical WC-Ni-PbO cermet, which has been successfully applied in practice, are as followss hardness HRA: 77, impact strength: 2.19 × 104N·m/m2; compressive strength: 6.95×108Pa(at room temperature) and 5.13× 108Pa (at 600℃) , coefficient of friction: 0.15 (at 600℃) , specific wean 1.43×10-14m3/N·m (at 600℃) .
