摘要
从 ＧＡＴＴ 到 ＷＴＯ，它们的宗旨都是贸易自由化，回顾贸易自由化的理论渊源、历史 发展以及有关规定可以看出，它们对贸易自由化的现实态度。中国在即将加入ＷＴＯ之际，应当根 据国情，采用ＧＡＴＴ和ＷＴＯ的有关规定进行适度的贸易保护，以有效避免加入ＷＴＯ对我国的 负面影响。
From General Agreement on Tariff and Trade to World Trade Organization, free trade is consistently the purpose for those two successive institutions. When we look back on the source of free trade, its development and relevant regulations, we may not fail to notice the realistic attitude taken by the two institutions. At the eve of China's entry into WTO, we should, in the light of China's actual conditions, resort to the concerning stipulations of GATT and WTO to protect certain our industries so as to avoid the possible negative impacts on us after our entry.
