Second Language Academic Writing Research Abroad: A Survey and Its Implications

摘要近年来学术写作研究在我国开始得到重视,但在深度和广度上有待加强。为促进我国的相关研究,有必要了解西方学界的研究现状。为此,本文综述了近10多年来西方应用语言学界在理论和实证方面所作的探讨,内容涵盖不同视角的学术写作理论,以及二语学术写作环境、写作过程与写作文本等方面的实证研究。本文最后还讨论了国外二语学术写作研究的启示意义并简要分析了国内研究现状及存在的问题。 This paper is a survey of L2 academic writing research outside China, covering L2 academic writing theories and empirical studies ranging linearly from environment and processes to texts of academic writing. In addition, implications of these theories and empirical studies and limitations of EFL academic research in China are discussed. Based on this review, recommendations for future studies in China are made as well.
