摘要
泰州儒学强调以人为本。古代的泰州学者们十分重视人自身的价值和尊严,强调尊身、保身。他们还从人性层面和个人与国家的关系层面对其身本思想进行阐述与论证。泰州儒学肯定人的情欲,但同时也主张节制不合理的情欲,尤其反对恶欲。泰州儒学还倡导公欲,主张义利统一,要求人们处理好义利关系,坚持义利统一,做到"知本""知止"。
Taizhou Confucianism is humanisitic. Ancient Taizhou scholars attached great importance to one' s own value and dignity and stressed self-respect and self-control. They expatiated their own thoughts from the aspect of human nature and the relationship between individuals and the nation as a whole. Taizhou Confucianism asserted sexual lusts of people, but also advocated holding control of unreasonable lusts, especially evil desire. They advocated the public desire and a unification of righteousness and benefits. They asked people to make a balance between righteousness and people's own benefits, to "know one's role" and "know when to stop".
