A General Factor of Personality(GFP) from a Meta-analyse of the Big Five over the Last Ten Years

摘要 利用近10年中国大五人格的研究数据(K=14,N=8715)对五项人格因素间的相关做元分析后,以验证性因素分析研究人格G因素存在性。结果表明:人格二因素模型(宜人性、尽责性和情绪稳定性属于Alpha,外向性和开放性属于Beta)和高阶模型(在二因素模型的基础上让Alpha和Beta隶属于一个高阶因子GFP)要稍微优于单纯的一因素模型(五个人格因子直接隶属于一个高阶因子GFP)。结论:人格G因素存在于中国近10年的大五人格研究中。 Meta-analyses（K=14, N=8715） and confirmatory factor analyses were used to test the existence of the general personality factor（GFP or The Big One） within the five-factor personality model. Results indicated that two factor model in- cluding Alpha and Beta was better than the one factor model. The factor Alpha includes the agreeableness, conscientious- ness and emotional stability, and the Beta includes openness and extraversion. This study provides further evidence for the existence of the General Factor of Personality in the big-five personality model.
