After the founding of new China, baseball, from America and Japan, had a period of vigorous develop- ment in 1950s and was also included in the scope of socialism professional sports. Until to the 1960s, baseball was suddenly excluded. Although experienced setbacks, the entire project almost completely disappeared. Until the late of the "Cultural Revolution" baseball got recovered. This study hopes to explore the politicized process of physical exercises during this period by combing baseball' s development of rise and fall in order to analyze hidden political relations between physics and the CPC' s arm training, united front and diplomacy.
