摘要
大学英语语法教学在大学英语教学改革背景下形成了两种截然相反的观点。一种观点认为大学英语教学应该淡化英语语法教学应该淡化甚至取消英语语法教学,另一种观点主张大学英语教学应该继续加强英语语法教学。首先分析了2种观点分别面临的困境,指出了大学英语语法教学的必要性,并建议使用任务型英语教学方法来平衡英语语法教学和学生交际能力的培养,达到提高学生英语综合应用能力的目的。
Two opposite views about college English grammar teaching have formed in the background of college English teaching reform. One view argues that English grammar teaching should be weakened in college English teaching. The other one supports to strengthen English grammar teaching. The paper firstly analyses the difficulties facing the two views, points out the necessity of college English grammar teaching and at last suggests the task - based English teaching method to balance grammar teaching and the cultivation of students＇ communicative compe- tence to improve students＇ English competence.
