This paper reviews the several aspects of application of molecular marker on the genetics and breeding of vegetables of solanceae:1)construction of genetic map;2)research of germplasm resources;3)localization and molecular marker-assisted selection of qualitative trait gene;4)analysis of quantitative trait loci.
