摘要
首先介绍了分形与分维的基本概念及其几何意义 ,然后重点论述了分形理论在地理(包括自然地理和人文地理 )研究中的应用情况 。
The basic concept on fractals and fractal dimension are introduced, the main applications of fractal theory to georaphic studies are discussed and prospects of the fractal geography are given.
