介绍当前IETF解决移动上网的基本方案——Mobile IP协议，以及该协议在校园网络环境上的试验实现、软件的设计及模块结构，并讨论协议存在的问题及解决方案。
The Mobile IP protocol can provide transparent and seamless service to mobile node on Internet．This article describes the mechanism of mobile IP, its implementation and improvement.
