摘要
共享不同代理的缓存 Web文档是减少 Web通信量和减轻网络瓶颈的重要方法 .在分析原有 Web缓存通信协议 (ICP)的基础上 ,提出了一种新的协作 Web缓存系统 (CMCS)并作了分析比较 .通过将 HTTP请求均匀分散到系统各个代理 ,消除了代理之间庞大的通信开销以及由此带来的处理负担 .在动态变化的网络环境下 ,有效地将各个代理组织起来 ,处理来自服务器的文档 .另外也克服了以往每个代理里有大量冗余内容 ,造成各个代理内容趋同的情形 .
In order to reduce average delay and bandwidth usage in the Web, intermediate proxies usually store copies of popular objects. The sharing of caches among Web proxies is an important technique to reduce Web traffic and alleviate network bottlenecks. An important issue in cooperative caching system is to decide where to look for caching objects. Multicast queries or URL digests schemes is often used in existing caching systems. Based on the analysis of existing protocols, a new cooperative Web caching system is proposed in this paper. The system uses proxy manager to evenly distribute HTTP requests to proxies, thus avoiding communication overhead among proxies. At the same time, the processing burden of each proxy is greatly reduced. Each active proxy is effectively organized to process objects from different servers and queries from users under dynamic networking environment. The physical proxies are effectively organized in one logical large proxy. The serious duplicates among proxies caused by ICP are greatly reduced.
