摘要
通过分析产品模型的研究现状，论述建立适应产品快速响应设计需求的产品模型的必要性，并指出相应的产品模型应具有的特性。在此基础之上，引入产品动态模型定义，分析其子模型、子模型的多视图定义及表示方法。
Product model is the main aspect of a CAD system and its applications. Product modelling has been given more attentions last decades, but there is no product model, which is general enough to support all aspects of product development. Product model is related to the design process. While different design type has different process. Variant design is a popular design type in lots of companies. The existing product models do not fit the requirements of variant design. In this paper, we first give a review of the product modelling, analyze the requirements of product model for variant design. It then introduces a Product Dynamic Model(PDM), analyzes its sub-models and gives the views of each sub-model. The representation of PDM, its sub-models and views is based on the object-oriented modelling technique. The definition of PDM properly describes the design process, hierarchical product information and their dynamic performance. It can fit the requirements of rapid product development.
