The article states a test in the induction furnace for making super-low carbon stainless steel. It took the micro-carbon ferro-chrome iron and pure (Armco) iron as the processed materials, blew the Ar and appropriate O2 from the crucible bottom during melting processes. The products quality and economy is better than that of tranditional methods in which pure materials burden are adopted.
