Structural Topology Optimization Based on the Hybrid Cellular Automaton Method

摘要 混合元胞自动机(HCA)算法是一种将元胞自动机原理与有限元分析结合起来的方法。基于HCA思想,研究了应力约束或变形约束下的结构拓扑优化。引入罚函数方法,通过实时调整应变能密度目标值,实现了与CA局部规则的有机结合。通过算例并比较讨论其他方法,证实了文中方法对解决约束条件下的结构拓扑优化设计问题十分有效。 The hybrid cellular automaton(HCA) algorithm is a method that combines the cellular automaton paradigm with finite element analysis. An improved approach of HCA which incorporates the stress and displacement constraints into the model was proposed. Penalty techniques were utilized to combine the target strain energy density which was adjusted during the search with the local control rules of CA. Numerical examples demonstrate that the method developed is effective in solving structural topology optimization problems with constraints.
