This paper details the calculation methods of overall evaluation index and corr ec- tion factor for natural conditioas which along with five iterms representing safety situation in coal mine can be employed to calculate ocerall evaluation index.It also classifies the safety situation in coal mine into five grades for the overall evaluation.
