Flame Retardant Performance of PP Inorganic Composite

摘要 分别制备了聚丙烯(PP)与氢氧化镁[Mg(OH)2]、高岭土(KL)、聚磷酸铵(APP)之间的一元配比复合材料和二元配比复合材料,并将最优的二元配比复合材料添加一定量的相容剂聚丙烯接枝马来酸酐(PP-g-MAH),测定了各产物的力学性能和氧指数,遴选出其最优配比。结果表明:材料的氧指数随着阻燃剂添加量的增加有一定的提高,不同无机阻燃剂复配阻燃效果比单独使用好,同时力学性能稍有下降;添加PP-g-MAH后,冲击强度得到明显提高,但氧指数变化不大。最优配方为PP/Mg(OH)2/KL/PP-g-MAH(100/40/10/5)。 Polypropylene (PP) composite which was filled with kaolin (KL) or magnesium hydroxide or ammonium polyphosphate (APP) was prepared. The best binary composite which was mixed with a certain amount of PP-g-MAH was also investigated. Every composite's mechanical properties and oxygen index(OI) were determined. Finally, the optimal formula was confirmed. It showed that the OI properties was improved with the increase of flame retardant agents. The effect of flame retardant with different inorganic flame retardants was better than alone, and the mechanical properties would not drop a lot. After adding PP-g-MAH, the impact strength was increased significantly, and the oxygen index was little changed. The optimal formula was PP/Mg( OH) ,1KLlPP-g-MAH (100/40/10/5).
