摘要
基于数据方法,对"严重XX"和"seriously XX"的普遍性语义韵进行了较为系统的对比研究,发现二者之间既有共性又有差异。共性是都存在着由典型搭配构成的普遍性语义韵,并且右侧搭配大都是消极词汇,所构成的语义氛围是消极语义;差异是"seriously XX"所搭配的词较为固定和局限,而"严重XX"搭配范围则更加宽泛。
This paper examines global semantic prosody of ＂yanzhong XX＂ and ＂seriously XX＂ mainly on data-based approach. As a result, similarities and differences are both found between them. The similarities are mainly about the fact that there is global semantic prosody created by typical collocations between them. In addition, because of the right side usually used with passive vocabularies, the semantic atmosphere is negative. Differences between them are the range of collocated words, more fixed and restricted for ＂seriously XX＂ but broader for ＂yanzhong XX＂.
