摘要
随着金融业的不断开放,我国银行为了打破传统利息业务的束缚开始进行不断的产品创新,寻求新的利润增长点来应对外资银行的挑战。采用固定效应下的GLS法,运用2003—2008年我国12家商业银行的面板数据实证分析了外资银行进入对我国银行产品创新的影响。研究发现,外资银行的进入促进了我国银行的产品创新能力的提高,并且效果显著。另外,我国银行的产品创新能力与经济发展程度、国有银行总资产占银行业金融机构总资产比、不良贷款率和员工薪酬呈正相关,与银行规模呈负相关,与净息差的关系则表现为不显著。
With the opening of the financial market, Chinese banks begin to carry on products innovation unceasingly to break the bondage of traditional interest business, which is to seek new growth point of profit to deal with the challenges of foreign banks. In this paper, an empirical analysis is given on the effect of the entry of foreign banks to 12 Chinese commercial banks from 2003 to 2008 by making use of GLS method. The results indicate that the entry of foreign banks have produced significant positive impact on the ability of banking products innovation of China. In addition, the ability of financial products innovation for Chinese Banks has a positive relationship with economic de- velopment level, the proportion of state-owned bank assets in total assets of the banking financial institutions, non- performing loans ratio and staff salaries, and a negative relationship with bank size. But it have no significant rela- tionship with net interest margin.
