阐述中国风景园林规划设计学科专业的重大转变，从学科观念、支撑专业，人才教育、实践趋势等方面，论证转变期该学科专业的定性、定位、定型和定向以及相应的人为对策。
In the turn of the century, the concept of discipline, supporting profession, education of the professionals and the trends of the practice, from these four aspects, the abrupt transition of the discipline and profession of Chinese landscape architecture was described. The characterizing, positioning, forming and orienting of Chinese landscape architecture was discussed.
