摘要
彼特拉克是意大利著名诗人、人文主义运动的先驱,他的《歌集》主要是为他倾慕的女子劳拉写的,歌颂了她的形体美。对她的足部、足迹的描写在全诗中占有一定篇幅,应是歌颂劳拉形体美的一个侧面,从中可见诗人对劳拉的情感、态度,及诗人的艺术追求。这些描写既有他对劳拉世俗的欲望之爱,也有对劳拉几近神圣的宗教性崇拜,对于塑造劳拉动人的独特艺术形象功不可没。
Francis Petrarch is a famous Italian poet and forerunner of humanistic movement. His Canzoniere is writ- ten mainly for a lady called Laura whom he adores, in which he eulogizes her beauty of figure. There is a great length of writing dedicated to the description of her feet and footprint, which should be one side of such eulogies. From this, we can gain an insight into the emotion and attitude of the poet directed to Laura and into the poet＇ s own artistic quest. These descriptions not only demonstrate his worldly desire of love to her, but also display his nearly sacred religious worship to her, which bear great contribution in shaping Laura＇ s appealing and unique artis- tic image.
