摘要 柯萨奇病毒A组16型(coxsackievirus A16,CVA16)与肠道病毒71型(enterovirus type 71,EV71)均为手足口病(hand,foot and mouth disease,HFMD)的主要致病原,因HFMD在亚太地区的大流行而引起人们的关注。虽然EV71所致的HFMD通常症状更典型、并发症的发生率和致死率均较高,但CVA16却是HFMD和疱疹性咽峡炎更主要的致病原,两者交替流行或共同流行时,其感染所致疾病在临床表现往往难以鉴别,这对病例处理及流行防控措施的及时性极为不利。尽管已有EV71或HFMD相关的研究中对CVA16也进行了相应流行病学等研究,但CVA16的病原学、流行病学、致病机制和免疫机制等基础研究仍较为薄弱,且缺乏毒力较强的毒株和可靠的动物模型,对CVA16疫苗的研制提出了极大的挑战。 Coxsackievirus A16 (CVA16) and enterovirus type 71 (EV71) are both the major pathogen agents of hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD). CVA16-associated diseases and EV71-associated diseases are usually difficult to be distinguished from clinical manifestations, sometimes resulting in misdiagnosis and delaying of appropriate therapy. Al- though there were some studies mainly about HFMD and E71 had also revealed some epidemiological features of CA16, comprehensive basic researches covering etiology, epidemiology, pathogenic mechanism and immunology' that targeted CVA16 are still lack, which posing a big challenge to the development of CVA16 vaccine.
