摘要
圆瑛大师是近代禅门高僧,在中国佛教近代史上发挥了极其重要的作用。他的禅学思想主要体现在倾心《楞严》,禅净双修,儒释会通,倡文字禅,爱国救世等五个方面。这些思想充分体现了在近代时代大背景下佛教界人士应机说法,引导世人离苦得乐的时代特色,反映了近代禅宗发展的总趋势,也展现了近代禅僧的独特品格。
Yuan Ying was the famous zen monk in modern China, who played on an extremely important role in the modern history of Chinese Buddhism. His zen thought was mainly reflected in five aspects： taking The Shttrangama seriously, practicing both zen and Sukhavati, making an accommodation between the Confucianism and Buddhism, proposing the words of zen, be patriotic and salvation. These thoughts fully reflected the Buddhism characteristics of the times that Buddhist preached on an opportune moment, guided people to avoid suffering and to be happy in the historical background of modern China. It reflected the general trend of development of modern zen, and displayed the unique character of modern zen monk.
