摘要
强度干涉学的分析结果与粒子源的平均半径〈r〉有关;利用小相对动量差区域的关联函数可以估计粒子源的均方半径〈r^2〉;由比值〈r^2〉/〈r〉~叮可以获得源密度细致分布的信息。对Bevalac流光室1.8A GeV Ar+Pb中心碰撞实验数据的分析,得到了该反应π源的平均半径,提出了π源膨胀的一种可能模式;指明在目前的实验精度内,先验的高斯模型是合理的。
The fitted spatial parameter from intensity interferometry relates to an average radius <r>
of the particle-emitting source. The mean-square radius <r^2> of the source can be estimated by
the small relative momentum correlation function. More detailed information about the source
density distribution can be inferred from the value of k=<r^2>/<r>~2. A study of central
collisions of 1.8 A GeV Ar+Pb at the bevalac streamer chamber shows that the data are con-
sistent with an a priori Gaussian model for the density distribution at the present level of ex-
perimental accuracy. The average radius of the pion source in the reaction is deduced, and a
possible picture to describe the expanding pion source is presented.
