High-yielding seed production techniques for a new hybrid rice combination Luyou 637 were introduced, which included the selection and isolation of seed production base, reasonable arrangement of sowing interval of parents, constructing high-yielding population of parents, improving outcrossing rate by taking comprehensive measures, strictly roguing, good pest and disease control, and ensuring the quality of seeds.
