摘要 1 引言现有的网络管理系统(NMS)都采用一种管理方/代理(manager/agent)模型,管理方软件运行在某种平台的工作站上,通过使用某种管理通信协议,如IETF的SNMP或OSI的CMIP获取设备数据,这些数据由嵌入到各种网络设备中的代理方软件进行收集。所有数据由管理方软件集中处理后,再以GUI的形式显示,供网络管理员对网络进行监控。但是。 The application of distributed object technology to the increasingly complicated network management is a current trend. CORBA is the current key technology in this field. In this paper , the benefits of CORBA-based network management are discussed and the recent developments are surveyed.
