The influence of expressway construction on ecological environment, atmospheric environment, acoustics environment and water environment is stated. By the introduction of environmental protection measures in American expressway construction and maintenance, new concepts and new techniques can be provided for environmental protection in our country ＂s expressway construction and maintenance, which have some reference functions for the environment issue in our country＇s expressway construction and maintenance.
