摘要
本文利用中国学习者英语语料库(CLEC)调研了中国英语学习者动名搭配行为的特点和偏误特征。首先,在CLEC中提取了所有含有ability的索引行,然后,通过人工标注,找出属于动名搭配的句子,并对这些搭配结构进行了分类。随后,我们将这些搭配结构与英语本族语者和国际英语学习者所使用的搭配结构进行了对比和分析,研究发现,与本族语者相比,中国英语学习者动名搭配的适当性上存在明显差异,而与国际英语学习者相比,中国英语学习者在搭配使用的正确性和适当性上也存在明显的差距。
Based on data from the CLEC, the paper explores the characteristics of Chinese EFL learners＇ performance of verbnoun collocations. After all the concordance lines with the word ＂ability＂ in the CLEC are collected and analyzed, they are tagged manually in order to sort out the sentences in the verb-noun collocation structure. Then, a contrast is made between da- ta in the CLEC, ICLE and BNC. The study reveals that there is a distinct gap between the use of verb-noun collocations between English native speakers and Chinese EFL learners, and that Chinese EFL learners also give less satisfactory performance in verb-noun collocations in terms of the correctness and appropriateness.
