摘要
本文叙述50tHPEF-60tVAD-IC法生产轴承钢的冶炼工艺特点和质量水平,通过化学分析和非金属夹杂物的测定以及疲劳寿命试验表明,所生产的轴承钢纯净度高,夹杂物细小分散,氧含量低(平均10.40ppm),改变了夹杂物的形态、消除了点状夹杂物,钢的疲劳寿命是电弧炉大气下熔炼钢的三倍。
The steelmaking characteristics and the quality of bearing steel production by 50tHPEF-60t VAD-IC process have been investigated. Results show that steel produced by the process has features of high cleanliness, evenly dispersed inclusions and low oxygen content with an average level of 10.40ppm. In addition, the shape of inclusions has been improved and globular oxide inclusion has been eliminated. Fatigue life tests reveale that the life the steel from such process is three times as much as that of the normal EF products.
