摘要
为了正确评价我国在探讨图书馆学研究对象问题方面取得的成果,文章提出以现代科学的方法论为检验依据,并就图书馆学研究对象问题的科学性、实证方法和规范方法的利弊、研究方法的数据要求、研究结论的性质展开讨论。主要结论是:我国现有的关于图书馆学的研究对象问题的研究都不属于严格的实证研究,而是属于规范研究;其结论不是图书馆学研究对象必然是什么,而是应该是什么。由于历史性数据无法实证未来,因此关于图书馆学的研究对象的未来必然是见仁见智的,多种观点并存是其常态。只有经过实践检验的答案才具有相对真理性;无数这样的答案构成图书馆学主体对于客体的历史性解答。
We take the modern scientific methodology on the object problem of library science research in as a test basis to properly evaluate the all achievements China. A detailed discussion is given to the scientific attributions of object research problem, the pros and cons of positive research methods and normative research methods, and the data requirements of research methods, and the natures of research findings. The main conclusions are： all the existing researches about the object of library science in China do not belong to rigorous empirical studies, but belong to normative ones; Those conclusions don＇t mean what the object of library science must be, but should be. Because historical data can not prove positively the future object, the research on future objects of library science must be a matter of opinion. Therefore the problem about the object of library science is an everlasting topic; the coexistence of many answers is the norm; only the answers that through practice can obtain its characteristic of relative truth; all the myriad answers with this characteristic constitute historically the complete answers.
