摘要
英美文学是高等院校英语专业学生的传统主干课程之一。然而,自20世纪90年代以来,此类课程却日益受到学生的冷落,面临着前所未有的"生存危机"。有鉴于此,本文在分析建构主义教学观的基础上,探讨了该理论对英美文学教学的启示,旨在更加有效地提高此类课程的教学质量。
Since 1990s,English and American Literature,one of the key courses for English majors,has met with unprecedented ＂existence crisis＂.Based on a brief analysis of Constructivism,the present paper attempts to explore its role and application in the teaching and learning of English and American Literature.
