摘要
本文通过1948-2007年NCEP/NCAR再分析月平均100 hPa、200hPa、500hPa高度场、温度场和风场资料,依据大气环流观测事实及天气学原理,客观描述各层次大气环流的气候纬向平均状况,探究了高空纬向环流的年际及年代际变化特征。研究表明：北半球高空各层次的西风环流具有空间整体性和时间持续性。
The interannual and interdecadal variations of the upper level zonal circulation are studied by use of the 58-year（1948-2007） NCEP/NCAR monthly mean reanalysis data.According to the observational facts of atmospheric circulation,this article describes the mean zonal climatic wind of each height.It is found that there are integrity and consistency in the each height field during the upper level westerly circulation.
