摘要
"指示"作为空间导向符号的物性功能,其重要性毋庸置疑。而在"指示"之外,对于空间特性的认知往往有助于降低寻路过程中的焦虑感。隐喻恰恰能满足这种潜在需求,以实现更深层次的沟通。导向符号的隐喻作为一种"跨概念"投射,有着十分缜密的认知框架,而隐喻表述的选择过程则在一定程度上体现了"语境顺应"的特征。空间导向符号构筑意义的过程强调符号多模态的互补关系,体现在导向系统的符号语篇中,图像模态与文本模态的隐喻相互协同与补充,两者同为寻路者提供了一个逻辑连贯的空间结构叙述语篇。回归"体验"是导向符号隐喻和意义构建的核心问题,同时也是理论观照现实的重要举措。
The importance of ＂instruction＂ as a space-oriented symbol is evident. Besides ＂Instruction＂, the cognition of the space characteristics often helps reduce wayfinding anxiety. Metaphors just can effectively meet this potential demand and achieve a deeper level of communication. Oriented symbolic metaphor, as a ＂cross-concept＂ projection, has a very careful cognitive framework. The selection process of metaphorical expression represents ＂Context Adaption＂ feature. Constructing meanings of space-oriented symbols emphasizes multi-modal and complementary relationships of symbols. This is represented in the corporation and complementarity between image modal and text modal in symbolic discourse. Both of them provide wayfinders with a special narrative discourse, which is logically consistent. Returning to ＂experience＂ is not only the core issue of metaphor and meaning construction of oriented symbols but also an important measure of theoretical contemplation of reality.
