The paper discusses the application of the java technology of javamail and apache POI in the novelty search of library, mainly makes an introduction to the demand analysis of the system, the thread and flow of design idea and the core modules, including the email management on javamail technology, automatic access to tabular data of word document on Apache POI technology etc, tests and analyzes the work flow and the problems for attention in the application of the system.
