摘要
对当今生态学研究的定量化和模型化趋势进行了分析，阐明了在生态学研究中建立数学模型的基本原则和方法，综述了数学模型在生态学一些分支学科的研究进展，并就研究中存在的问题和研究的前景作了评述．
With the introduction of the quantitative trend and modeling tendency related to ecology research method. Authors reviewed in detail the main principle and method about how to build a mathematical model in ecology and the research development about mathematical model applying in the branch of ecology. At the same time the problems and perspective of mathematical model research on ecology were discussed.
